A Texas Christmas

Traveling to Texas for Christmas is very important to Steph and me because it is the one time of year everyone on her side of the family gathers all at once. For right now, Oregon is home and will be for several more years and with that, there is a physical distance and lack of regular opportunity to visit family. So Christmas brings forth a great opportunity to see grandparents, parents, siblings, cousins, and all of our extended family. As with most families, Christmas brings many traditions that we look forward to and share together.

Air Force Football Game

Jessica and Tom, Steph’s sister and brother-in-law, invited us to go to the Air Force football game. It was a beautiful sunny December day with weather well above average in the 80’s. We definitely baked in the sun a few hours that day but it was very fun to watch a football game in person!

Projects with Rudy

Steph’s dad, Rudy, is very project oriented like myself. So there is usually something to work on together when we visit.

I was able to help Rudy, Steph’s dad, with some engine work on his 1966 Ford Mustang.

We also installed some UV lights in his HVAC system to help keep the equipment and air clean.
