Master Bedroom Remodel
Leading up to this past May, we were pushing hard to get the master bedroom remodel complete. Unsure of how busy the summer was going to be. We agreed that come May, we would stop remodeling and move into the master bedroom and then pick things back up in the fall. We nearly finished the main living space. The only item left to complete is to install the baseboard around the perimeter of the room. Then it will be fully complete.
The flooring we chose to go with is 100% waterproof and looks amazing! It clicks together really well and is supposed to hold up to life’s challenges. We purchased it at Home Depot (link).
Before
After
Before we laid the flooring down we screwed off the sub-flooring to get rid of any squeaky boards and then painted the floor to seal in any old odors. The last thing we did was mud the gap in the floor where the old wall was to make everything smooth underneath our new flooring.
With a ton of help from my wife and her parents, we got it done and it turned out great! Our plan is to continue this flooring through the rest of the upstairs this fall. Our next project is to complete the master closet build-out!
