Meet Teagan Auring Martin

That’s right! I’m a girl dad and I could not be more thrilled! Meet our beautiful baby girl! The name Teagan is a unique name that steph and I really like. Teagan’s middle name, Auring, is a family name. It comes from steph’s Grandma who came over from the Philippines.

Teagan is doing amazing and is very healthy! Steph was amazing and went through labor like a champion! Steph had a huge desire to have an unmedicated natural childbirth but life had much different plans. We started out at the birth center but around midnight on the 28th had to transfer to the hospital and have a lot of help. Teagan was not in the right position. But thankful for all the doctors and help mom and baby are doing great!

My job was to support steph any way that I could and keep in touch with our midwives as the event unfolded. We are so blessed to have amazing midwives that believe every family and every birth is unique and individual from all the others. That sets the stage to have less, routine practice and more specialized care.

We had a ton of help from friends and family through its processes and I want to elevate them and say we could not have done it without you!
