Our Birth Center

Steph and I desired to use a birthing center with midwives to walk down this road of pregnancy with us. Through recommendations from many friends, we have been using The Bend Birth Center (Instagram)(facebook).

One thing that is really cool is we actually know 7 of the babies that were born in this house in Bend. Several of them are our neighbor’s and friends’ kids. It’s crazy to think that our little one will be able to share the same story. The midwives are very experienced and truly a blessing to work with.

The Bend Birth Center is an absolute gem in Central Oregon. The midwives genuinely care about personal and individual care plans unique to every mom, baby, and family. Informed content is the core of their beliefs and we could tell they genuinely care about us from our first apportionment. They have helped us walk through our first pregnancy with all of the tools and information that we need.

My absolute favorite part of every appointment is when they pull out the doppler and I get to hear my baby’s heartbeat. Being able to hear that little heart pumping makes everything feel so real. So much joy fills the room.
